Le Resistance!

Ida Löfgren looks like a resistance fighter from the 40s here and I love it! The bag was actually her Nan's so maybe it once contained guns, sticks of dynamite and maps....most likely it just contained her Nan's sandwiches and a banana, but its more exciting in my world!

Drag Queens, Fuel, Sheffield 2006

During my DJ career I had the benefit of playing at a fantastic club every weekend in Sheffield and Hull called Fuel from around 2003 - 2008. The club had an electric atmosphere and the clientele would always make an effort to dress up and party. These pictures were taken circa 2006 a year before the Sheffield club closed and feature club entertainers Philip who had an alter-ego called Gayham, DJ Raunchy Rusty and Jamie.

John and Annette before Fuel

This is a picture I took a few years ago of a couple I knew called John and Annette. John and Annette used to come into a club I DJ'd at every weekend in Sheffield called Fuel and were quite entertaining in that John was usually being lead around the club by a dog leash whilst Annette would spank him every now and again for good measure. They agreed to pose for me whilst getting ready to come and see me play one night and of course couldn't keep their hands off each other!

The picture was also featured in the Renaissance Awards Exhibition at Proud Galleries in London in 2008

On the streets of London

Believe it or not, despite all the heaps of snow that has dumped itself on Britain this week and the chaos of getting anywhere on London transport, in central London you wouldn't think it had snowed at all! It is however, bloody freezing when style hunting!

Fashion Ninja!

Hannah Knizova here is dressed like my idea of a fashion ninja! Her coat and harems are from Zara, her boots are from Vagabond and her scarfs from H&M, but she's just missing some of this season's nunchuck accessories!

Veruschka?

This young lady just screamed 1960s Veruschka when she was spotted in London's Conduit Street this week. I could just imagine 'Blow Ups' David Hemmings saying to her "I thought you were in Paris!" and she replying in a deep Eastern European accent "I am in Paris!"
